ジョージア州サバンナ近郊の変電所に潜水士4人が現れて大規模停電を起こす。CDC研究所からウイルスのサンプルを移送させるための計画だった。一方リズを呼び出したレッドは、カークに繋がる「マイルズ･マグラス」という、犯罪者のアイデアに出資する男の話をするが……。
