タクシーが事故を起こし、追突された車のトランクから射殺遺体が発見される。そのせいでミーガンは週末旅行へ行けなくなる。車の所有者は誰かがトランクに遺体を入れたと主張。手がかりは黄色い塗料。被害者カイルは建築家で１年前クビにされたが、身重の妻ミンディに言い出せず、元彼女宅へ失業手当を転送していた。黄色い塗料を手がかりに犯行現場探しが続く。
