チャックの父親、“オリオン”ことスティーブの捜索は難航。ベックマンたちのやる気に疑問を抱いたチャックは、逮捕されているフルクラムのスパイから情報を聞き出す役目を志願する。そして彼が会いに行ったのはジルだった。当初はとりつく島のなかったジルだったが、証人保護プログラムの適用を条件に協力を承諾する。
