デビルズ・ゲートが開き、無数の悪魔や悪霊が黒雲となって飛び去っていった。その1週間後、サムとディーンはボビーからの連絡によりネブラスカ州リンカーン郊外の農家に向かうと、そこへアイザックとタマラという夫婦のハンターも同じ悪魔の予兆にひかれて現れる。サムはアイザックとタマラに「共同で調査しよう」と申し出るが、アイザックはデビルズ・ゲートを開け戦争を引き起こしたサムたちを非難し、出て行ってしまった。
