エリカはジョージーから紹介されたライアンに、どことなく信用できない感じを抱く。アナはテレビで、ガンなどさまざまな病気に対する免疫力を高める「ビタミン・サプリ」を開発したと発表。それを見たライアンはジョージー、エリカ、ジャックを呼び出し、2年前にもVの科学者グループがビタミン剤だと称する薬を大量生産しようとしていたことを話す。
