アメリカ初の女性大統領が射殺されてから数ヵ月後。とある山奥で重傷を負った男が発見される。男には一切の記憶がなく、自分の名前すらも分からない。唯一の手がかりは首元に刻まれた“ⅩIII（サーティーン）”という文字のタトゥー。その男“ⅩIII”は、突如、謎の暗殺者たちの襲撃を受けるが、すべての記憶を失っているはずの彼は、習得した技術を身体が覚えていたのか、反射的に優れた格闘術を駆使して暗殺者たちを撃退した。
