海外ドラマ最新レポート Vol.288　 「クリミナル・マインド」リバイバル版の企画が浮上　オリジナルキャストの復帰も?

米で昨年シリーズが終了したばかりの「クリミナル・マインド」に、早くもリバイバル版の製作が企画されていることが分かった。
 
リバイバル版はまだ企画の初期段階で、現時点で詳細は未定。しかしクリエイティブチームの招集はすでに始まっており、「クリミナル・マインド」中盤以降の中心プロデューサーだった、エリカ・メッサーの名前も検討されているという。
 
またリバイバル版の出演者については、オリジナルキャストから数名を招集、さらに新キャストが合流し、新しいBAU（FBIの一流プロファイラー集団）が誕生することになりそうだ。実質的主役だったリード役のマシュー・グレイ・ギュブラー、天才的なハッキング技術で捜査解決を導いたガルシア役のカーステン・ヴァングスネスなど長年レギュラーを務めた濃いキャラクターの多かった番組だけに、どのキャストが再登板するかファンにとっては気になるところ。
 
SNSでは「ホッチ（トーマス・ギブソン、シーズン12で降板）に戻ってきてほしい」「できるだけたくさんのオリジナルキャストが見たい」など、すでにファンの喜びの声が多数書き込まれている。
 
2005年から15シーズンに渡り製作された「クリミナル・マインド」は、米大手ネットワークのCBSで放送された。リバイバル版は新オンライン配信サービス、パラマウント＋での配信コンテンツの企画。パラマウント＋は、CBSと同じ親会社ViacomeCBS傘下の新しいオンライン配信サービスで、現行のCBS All Accessからのリブランドとなる。3月4日以降、CBS All Accessからパラマウント＋と名称を変えて、配信サービスとしてのさらなる強化をはかる狙いだ。
