海外ドラマ最新レポート Vol.376　 人気は衰えず 「クリミナル・マインド」配信視聴時間年間ランキングでトップに

米ニールセン社が、2021年オンライン配信視聴年間ランキングを発表した。米国内の配信サービス5社（ネットフリックス、Hulu、ディズニープラス、アマゾンプライム、アップルTVプラス）を調査、各番組の視聴時間を集計している。
 
同ランキングによれば、配信視聴時間で年間トップに立ったのは「クリミナル・マインド」。ネットフリックスで配信中のシーズン1～12（全322話）は、2021年の一年で、339億分視聴されたという。「クリミナル・マインド」は、米ABCで2005年から2020年まで15シーズンにわたり放送されていた、サスペンススリラー。連続殺人や猟奇殺人など地上波では珍しいダークな題材を取り入れ人気を呼んだ。ABCの放送終了後もファンの再開を望む声が大きかったことから、米配信サービスのパラマウントプラスでリブート化が検討されたが、実現には至らなかった。
 
第2位は、ネットフリックスで配信されている子供向け番組「ココメロン ～うたってまなぼう～」。こちらは全15話で333億分視聴された。第3位は「グレイズ・アナトミー」（ネットフリックス）。シーズン1～17の382話で視聴時間は326億分。続く第4位は「NCIS ネイビー犯罪捜査班」（ネットフリックス）。シーズン1～15の354話で視聴時間は295億分となっている。以下、第6位に「MANIFEST／マニフェスト」（ネットフリックス、シーズン1～3の42話、199億分視聴）、7位に「スーパーナチュラル」（ネットフリックス、全15シーズンの329話、189億分視聴）などがランクインしている。
 
また、2021年ネットフリックスで大ヒットした韓国のドラマシリーズ「イカゲーム」は同年9月から配信開始にもかかわらず、全9話の視聴時間は164億分。これは一話あたりだと18億分の視聴時間に相当し、「クリミナル・マインド」の一話あたりの視聴時間1億分をはるかにしのいでいる。
