海外ドラマ最新レポート Vol.589 　「LAW & ORDER: 性犯罪特捜班」放送25周年記念　オリビア・ベンソン・プラザ開設

米大手ネットワークNBCの人気シリーズ「LAW & ORDER: 性犯罪特捜班」が、1999年9月の初回放送以来、今年で25周年を迎える。
 
「LAW & ORDER: 性犯罪特捜班」で主役のオリビア・ベンソン刑事を演じているのはマリスカ・ハージティ。長い米TV史の中でも、一人の女性がこれほど長くプライムタイム・ドラマシリーズ主演を務めているのは他に例を見ない。
この長年の放送を記念し、3月14、15日の両日、NBCは同ネットワークの所在地であるロックフェラー・プラザに“オリビア・ベンソン・プラザ”を特設、無料一般公開を行うと発表した。
“オリビア・ベンソン・プラザ”では、特製カップに注がれるコーヒーや紅茶が無料でふるまわれ、ラテには番組関連のアートデザインも。ショップで販売される特製フレンドシップ・ブレスレットの売り上げ額の一部は、性的虐待、家庭内暴力などに苦しむ女性たちの支援を目的に、マリスカ・ハージティが設立したジョイフル・ハート基金に寄付される。
他にも「LAW & ORDER: 性犯罪特捜班」25周年を記念した号外新聞の発行、今回限りのフォトブースの設置、ファンには嬉しいトリビア情報の展示もあるとか。記念Tシャツも予定されているが、こちらは限定販売になるという。
 
ご本人登場も期待できそうな二日間。“オリビア・ベンソン・プラザ”には、全米、いや全世界から「LAW & ORDER: 性犯罪特捜班」ファンが大集合する。
