ハワードは、バーで引っ掛けたステファニーに「火星の探査機を運転させてあげる」と誘い掛け火星無人探査機制御室に連れ込んでいた。しかし遠隔操作に失敗して探査機を火星の溝に落としてしまい、レナードたちを呼び出す。ハワードはステファニーをレナードに送らせて、シェルドンたちと探査機を動かそうとするが、探査機は反応しない。
