胸部痛を訴える男性が運ばれてきた。心筋梗塞か狭心症を疑い、治療を進めようとするプラット。しかし何とその男は、患者を装った新しいスタッフ・ドクターのクレメンテだった。６年間の昏睡状態から目覚めたブレアだったが、その原因である交通事故の記憶が定かではない。担当医師から事故の悲惨な状況を聞いたコバッチュは彼女の回復を待ってから事実を告げることにする。しかし突然、ブレアに事故の記憶の断片が蘇る。
