ミシガン通りで重要証人を乗せていた救急車が突然、爆発炎上する。偶然通りかかったアビーも爆風で吹き飛ばされるが幸い軽傷で済み、現場の救急活動に協力。そして救急車に乗っていたのはプラットと判明するも、プラットも軽傷とわかる。しかし、ひと安心していた矢先に……。
