パリへ行っていたブレアの母エレノアが突然NYへ戻ってくる。急いで自分のアパレルブランドのカタログの編集をしなければならないエレノアは、イメージに合うモデルを決めかねるが、娘ブレアがアドバイザーの目に留まる。そばにいたセリーナはすかさず大プッシュ、その場でブレアのモデルデビューが決まる。メイクテストで初めて撮影を経験したブレアだが、表情や動きが硬く、カメラマンは不満を漏らす。付き添いで現場に来ていたセリーナはそれを耳にしブレアの緊張を解こうと励ます。楽しげな2人を見たカメラマンはセリーナの魅力に注目、本番の撮影前夜、彼女の起用をエレノアに持ちかける。
2005年にはリメイクも作られた映画「がんばれ！ベアーズ」Bad News Bears（1976）を捩ったもの。
