夏休みも終わり、いよいよ新学期。セリーナとブレアは大学にある会員制の社交クラブに入会するためにハミルトンハウスを訪れる。会員にはそこで「鍵（キー）」が渡されることになっていた。建物に入ると、そこには鍵の管理者（キーマスター）であるジュリエットがいた。当然、セリーナとブレアも鍵をもらえるものと思っていたが……。
