第22話「グアダラハラの木」
A Tree Grows in Guadalajara / [ シリーズ通算 #22]

ベティたちは、ダニエルからプレゼントされた航空券でファーストクラスを楽しみつつ、メキシコへ向かう。イグナシオは三十年ぶりで家族と再会するが、ベティたちの母ローサ側の家族については知らないと言い、ローサの母ヨランダも死んだと言う。ベティは祈祷師と言われている親戚の女性から、「木の欠けてる枝を埋めよ その木の向こうに答えがある」と告げられる。最初は何のことかわからなかったが、やがて「木の欠けている枝」とは、家系図の母側のことだと気づく。
