マルロは警察の監視がなくなったため、一気に活動を再開する。まずは勢力拡大のため部下に他の売人のシマを襲わせようとする。またマルロはオマールに復讐するため、クリスにオマールを探し出すように命じる。一方マクノルティは死亡直後の遺体では検視官でも死亡前と死亡後の傷の区別ができないことがあることを知る。
