チャーター飛行機会社の現場責任者のロブが、会社の整備士を事故で失った後、その葬式から姿を消す。会社ではロブが予算を削減した結果の事故だと言われる声もあったが、ロブはそれがきっかけで出身地のロスに戻り、過去の事件に決着をつけようとしているようだった。
