ドラマコラム「LA発！海外ドラマ最新情報」Vol.324「MURDER IN THE FIRST／第１級殺人」の製作総指揮／脚本家が全米脚本家協会賞を受賞

MITF_Keyart_column250.jpg 「MURDER IN THE FIRST／第１級殺人」の製作総指揮と脚本の執筆を務めたベテラン脚本家兼プロデューサーのアリソン・クロスが、全米脚本家協会の特別功労賞にあたるパディ・チャイエフスキー栄誉賞を受賞した。（パディ・チャイエフスキーは、映画『ネットワーク』などで3度アカデミー賞を受賞した名脚本家。）

クロスは、1979年のテレビ映画「誘惑の行方」で脚本家デビュー。1989年のホリー・ハンター主演のテレビ映画「沈黙の裁き」と1995年のグレン・クローズ主演のテレビ映画「アーミー・エンジェル」では、エミー賞を受賞。「MURDER IN THE FIRST／第１級殺人」で一緒に仕事をしたスティーヴン・ボチコがクリエイターの「レイジング・ザ・バー　熱血弁護人」では脚本の執筆とコンサルティング・プロデューサーを担当した。そのボチコ自身も1994年にパディ・チャイエフスキー栄誉賞を受賞している。

パディ・チャイエフスキー栄誉賞の近年の受賞者には他に、アーロン・ソーキン（「ザ・ホワイトハウス」）、ラリー・デイヴィッド（「ラリーのミッドライフ★クライシス」）、デイヴィッド・チェイス（「ザ・ソプラノズ」）、ジョン・ウェルズ（「ER 緊急救命室」）などがいる。

授賞式は、2月11日にビバリー・ヒルトン・ホテルで行われる予定。
