デトロイトではハロウィーンの前の3日間が「デビルズナイト」と呼ばれ、若者たちを中心とする放火事件が集中する。さらに3年前から連続して3件ずつの放火殺人が発生しており、今年も同一犯と思われる被害者が1人出たためBAUが出動する。
