実在のカリスマ・プロデューサー、ラリー・デイヴィッドの揉め事まみれの日常を自らが演じるユニークでシニカルなフェイク・ドキュメンタリー･コメディ。
ラリーとジェフは、ドジャーズ戦のチケットを手に入れようとするが売り切れ。ゴルフ仲間マーティーはシーズンチケットを２席分持っているが、父親を亡くしたばかりできっと行かないだろう。しかしさりげなく聞いてみると予想に反して見に行くという。父とよく見に行っていたらしい。「よければ一緒に行く」と食い下がるラリー。その一方ラリーは陪審員候補に裁判所に呼ばれているが、「プロデューサーズ」の稽古もあるし、忙しくてやれない。そこで選抜過程でわざと落ちるように仕向けようと、ラリーは人種差別主義者のような顔をする。
