デイモンはキュア捜しの目的は伏せ、エレナをニューヨークへ連れ出す。ハイな状態でミスティック・フォールズにいては、みんなを敵に回してしまうからだ。70年代、デイモンは襲った人間のIDをウィルに渡していた。ウィルの顧客がキャサリンではないかとにらみ、ウィルが経営するビリーズ・クラブを訪ねる。
