ミスティック・フォールズの町にはコナー・ジョーダンなる人物が現れ、農場での爆発事故を極秘調査。事故の犠牲者の葬式が教会で行われることになり、コナーはヤング牧師の娘エイプリルを襲うと、その血の匂いでヴァンパイアをあぶり出す計画に出る。
