失踪者は目の不自由な少女ケリーと彼女の歩行訓練士ルイーザ。深夜のキャンプ場で歩行訓練中、2人は何者かに連れ去られた。早速捜査を開始したビビアンたちだが、ジャックの抜けた穴を意識せざるをえない。一方ジャックは、これまでの仕事を手放し家族を優先したものの、離婚が決定的となっていた。親権を手に入れるためには元のポストが必要であることを知ったジャックは、TVで失踪事件のことを知るのだが…。
