海外ドラマ最新レポート Vol.24　2017-18年期視聴者数ランキング発表 「ビッグバン★セオリー」「NCIS ネイビー犯罪捜査班」が上位に

TBBT_s9_bb_10-car.JPEG米ニールセン社が、2017－18年期のTV番組視聴者数ランキングを発表した。対象となるのは、2017年9月25日から2018年5月23日の間に放送されたレギュラーの全147番組（スーパーボウルやアカデミー賞中継などの特番は除く）。リアルタイムと7日内のタイムシフト視聴者数を合わせた、一話当たりの平均視聴者数のランキングとなっている。
 
米で最も視聴者数を稼ぐ番組といえば、プロアメリカンフットボールのNFL中継。中でも「サンデー・ナイト・フットボール」は日曜夜の定番番組で、リアルタイム視聴者数では7年連続で首位を独走している。
 
しかしリアルタイム視聴者数に7日内のタイムシフト視聴者数を加えた平均視聴者数ランキングでは、「サンデー・ナイト・フットボール」がややパワーダウンしたのか、2年ぶりにトップを陥落、３位に後退した。
 
代わりに1位になったのは、「Roseane（原題）」。平均視聴者数は1996万人。リバイバル版がサプライズの大ヒットとなったシットコムも、主演女優のツイッター炎上騒動で打ち切りに。
 
2位は今年も「ビッグバン★セオリー ギークなボクらの恋愛法則」。平均視聴者数は1889万人。昨期は1900万人で、わずかながら数字を減らしたが、11シーズンを重ねたロングラン・シットコムは固定視聴者をガッチリつかんでいると言えるだろう。今秋からのシーズン12で出演者たちの契約は切れるものの、更新される可能性は高そうだ。
 
5位は、「NCIS ネイビー犯罪捜査班」。平均視聴者数は1702万人。同番組のスピンオフシリーズも、12位に「NCIS: ニューオーリンズ」（1261万人）、21位に「NCIS: LA 極秘潜入捜査班」（1070万人）とそれぞれ上位にランクインした。複数のスピンオフシリーズが成功した例に「CSI: 科学捜査班」があるが、このまま視聴者数を保つことが出来れば「CSI」超えも見えてきた。
 
その他のランキング上位は、29位に「クリミナル・マインド」（958万人）、33位に「S.W.A.T.」（944万人）など。
