実在のカリスマ・プロデューサー、ラリー・デイヴィッドの揉め事まみれの日常を自らが演じるユニークでシニカルなフェイク・ドキュメンタリー･コメディ。
毛布をクリーニング店に持っていたラリーは、以前クリーニングに出した、思い出のシャツが消えたことに気づく。だが店の女性は自分の品物が間違って他人に渡ったり、逆に他人の物を手にしたりすることは、クリーニング業界ではよくあることだと言う。ラリーは全く納得がいかない。またNRDC（天然資源保護委員会）に寄付をしたラリーは、そのパーティーに出席。同じようにテッドも“匿名”で寄付をしていた。だが匿名なのにシェリルや一部の人はそれがテッドだと知っているし、匿名故にテッドの株は上がる一方だ。逆に名前を出したラリーは名声のために寄付したかのように思われてしまう。
