実在のカリスマ・プロデューサー、ラリー・デイヴィッドの揉め事まみれの日常を自らが演じるユニークでシニカルなフェイク・ドキュメンタリー･コメディ。
マーティ･ファンクハウザーの母親が車椅子に乗っているところを車にひかれ、亡くなった。マーティは母の写真と追悼の献花所を事故現場に作った。ラリーはゴルフでマーティに50ドルの貸しがあったが、母親の不幸のこともあり金は戻ってこないと思っていた。だが、気分転換のためジョギングしていたマーティは自ら50ドルを返してくれると言う。マーティは靴に入れていた50ドルを渡そうとするが、ラリーは汚いと言って拒否する。だが受け取らないなら返さないとマーティに言われしぶしぶ受け取る。

ユダヤ教徒の女の子の成人式。ユダヤ教では13歳になると大人の仲間入りとされている。ちなみに、男の子の成人式はバル・ミツバ。
