クリスマス2日前、ハーモンはコーツ三等兵曹の弁護をすることになる。彼女は命令違反と無断欠勤で逮捕されるところをサンタの扮装で逃亡を図ったが捕まった。クリスマス前の審理は間に合わないが、休暇中、営倉に入れるのはしのびなく、責任をもって預かってくれる家族を捜す。しかし彼女の父親は冷たく、結局ハーモンはコーツをマックに預ける。
