ラリーとシェリル夫妻は、オシドリ夫婦で有名なテッド・ダンソン＝メアリー・スティーンバーゲン夫妻とボーリングに行く。両カップルは気が合い、テッドらはラリー夫妻を週末のポール・サイモンのコンサートに招待する。 メアリーをとても気に入ったラリーは大はしゃぎ。 しかしコンサートの金曜日が近づいても、テッドらからはいっこうに連絡がなく…。
