実在のカリスマ・プロデューサー、ラリー・デイヴィッドの揉め事まみれの日常を自らが演じるユニークでシニカルなフェイク・ドキュメンタリー･コメディ。
ラリーがフットボールの試合を見ている時に、フロリダの母親に会いに行き4日間留守にしていたシェリルが帰ってくる。試合の残り時間は2分で、帰ったばかりのシェリルの話も聞かずにテレビに気を取られるラリーに、シェリルは怒ってしまい口を利かなくなる。翌日、ご機嫌を取ろうと、シェリルが欲しがっていたブレスレットを買う事にしたラリー。だが、運動用のボロボロの服を着ていた上、店の前でホームレスの男に話しかけられた事からホームレスと間違えられ、店に入れてもらえない。
