4年前に行方不明になった当時18歳の元コールガール、ジェシカ・ラーブ。今も捜査を続けていたビビアンの執念が実を結び、新たな手がかりが見つかる。ジェシカのアパートに残されていた指紋と、3日前に女性が暴行された現場で見つかった指紋が一致したのだった。暴行被害者の事情聴取から、相手の男は医者だと言っていたことがわかり、ポークという医師が浮かび上がる。ポークの自宅を捜索したところ、「ジェシカ」と書かれたビデオテープが見つかる。そこにはベッドに縛り付けられ、レイプされて首を絞められるジェシカが映し出されていた。
