フリーマンは空き家の捜査を続けるが、死体の数は増えていくばかり。さらに死体が見つかる地域も広がりを見せていた。バブルスは毒を作りシェロッドを殺してしまったと警察に自首してくる。ジョーはオマールに入荷してきた麻薬すべてを奪われたことを、組合に報告する。だがマルロはジョーがウソをついていると疑い続ける。
