テキサス州ヒューストンで、未解決レイプ事件ピアノマンの被害者ヴァネッサが何者かに誘拐される。ピアノマンの被害者のうち4人が二度目の被害に遭っていたことから、再びピアノマンの犯行であると見られる。十数名に及ぶ被害者には共通点がないとされていたが、BAUはある共通点を見出す。
