学生向けの犯罪学講座で講演することになったロッシ。BAUの面々も同行し、かつて100人以上が犠牲となったトーマス・イエーツ事件を題材にプロファイリングについて語る。その事件は女性を誘拐、監禁したうえ生殖器を奪って殺害するという残忍なものだった。そしてこの日、ロッシにはもう1つ重要な用事が待っていた。
