アリゾナ州クロフォードで、監禁場所から脱走してきたらしき少年が発見され、直後にフラッグスタッフでビリーという13歳の少年が行方不明になる。クロフォードとフラッグスタッフは距離があるものの、BAUは2つの事件に関連性を見出だしていく。
