ある朝、新興ＩＴ企業シナロック社のオフィスで経営者を含む8人が殺害される。3人はナイフで、残り5人は銃で殺されていた。BAUは現場の状況から単独犯と判断するが、怨恨の線からは何も出てこない。間もなくある老夫妻が自宅のクローゼットで殺され、実の息子ルーク・ドーランが容疑者として浮上するが......。
