突然拉致されたJJは、クルーズと共に3年前に出会ったアスカリという男に監禁される。ホッチは上層部の対応から単なる拉致事件以上の問題が絡んでいることに気づき、国務次官に事情を問い詰めるが、事件から完全にシャットアウトされてしまう。そこでホッチは強力な助っ人を招集することに。
